    Hi folks!

I need a bit help. I'm trying to get all correct descriptions/names of hardscape, that is known for use in an aquarium. So, especially from members whose mother language is english or members, that know the exact description/name of the following stones and wood. It would be nice if you could help me, cause you would support a project, that also can be interesting you. (y)

I'm going to list some links here in indefinite sequence, please answer like "1) dragon stone". Thanks!

    First step... stones.

Here are some I can identify.

    1-Ohko(dragon stone)
    2-Seiryu
6-Holey rock - calcareous rocks with high CaCO3 content, not suitable for planted tank
    8-ADA Manten stone
    10-Scoria - volcanic rock
12-Again looks like some kind of calcareous rock
    13-Petrified(fossilized) wood
15-Thi might again be manten stone with warmer hues(not sure)

    Hi Hamza!

Thanks! You're shure, that #8 is Manten stone? In Germany it's sold as "Grey mountain stone", but there is also "Manten Stone" in stores. Please have a look at #11. Don't you use this kind of stone in some of your layouts? I've found that stone under the name "Verdi serpentino", so I think it's serpintine stone. Can you confirm that?

    Hi folks!

    *push*
C'mon! I'm sure that some of you know the other stones. As I said, I need the english description of the stones (or the international known name like "ADA Ohko" or something like that). I'm grateful for every help I can get.

Sorry Andy, dint see your message earlier..

You mean these rocks in my setups?
    http://www.aquascapingworld.com/threads/309-my-iaplc-2011-entry.5285/

When I purchased these, the dealer told these rocks are called serpentinite. We get two varieties here locally, one is brown and other is grey. And the rock you've shown as verdi serpentine might as well be a rock of serpentine category, as there are various groups under serpentine.

Thats much of a help I can offer. I just knew a few rocks that I came across and rest you may have to wait for some experts to recognize.
