Now i understand why i have algae buildups. Stopped adding fertilizer + i changed brand from seachem to tetra. I expected to have less algae with that and yes, i have less(no) black beard algae but now i have more staghorn algae. :p anyways, I'll fix it.

Hello Everyone! I'm so sorry for never updating and/or replying to responses. Life keeps me pretty busy and yes, my aquascape get neglected quite a bit. I'm actually surprised how good it does for never doing anything with it... I never do water changes or trim plants... I even forget to feed the fish. Yes... Hate me lol! I trimmed it up and water changed tonight. I also moved a few main stones around last month and really like the change. Take a glamce!

Looks like you have a tank that can look after its self but it is certainty showings signs of it requires some work done on it.

The Aquascape its self has some interesting features.

First thing I would do would be replace all the white gravel I would suggest a brown or a black colour it will be a lot easier to clean.

Several good 30%+ water changes a week will certainly help.

No mention of cleaning the filter.

A few of the rocks look like there is something on them they do not look clean and sharp if this is the case a good scrub with a very hard tooth brush.

Did you clean all the glass surfaces in and outside the tank?

Nothing major (other than filter) just all little jobs to give you a better presentation.
