Just came back from Yosemite National Park this week, and would like to share some photos of the trip.

Here's the Famous Tunnel View where you can see the whole Yosemite Valley including Half Dome in the center, and Bridalveil Falls on the right.

Closer view of Half Dome from the valley floor. We went rafting later. ;)

Hiked up to the Vernal Falls footbridge to see the falls. Take a look at nature's natural hardscape.

Finally, here's Yosemite Falls (which I think is the 4th largest/tallest waterfall in the world).

Anyone inspired to do a waterfall layout now? :ROFLMAO:

Yup, it is nice for me to live fairly close to this wonder of a park. It's about 4 hours from San Francisco.

I was too afraid of taking chucks of rocks home for aquascaping. Lots of nature people watching and all... Just kidding, it's good to respect the landscape.

Well, I'm planning to go on a trip myself to a waterfall fairly close by to Bangalore soon for some collection, the place is called Shivanasamudram falls. Heard that you will get a lot of wild growing Glosso, moss and rotala out there, would venture out for some hardscape collection as well. But definitely after the summers temperature is hitting 45Deg C now out here..:p

Cool. Just googled the falls and the place looks great. Sounds like a fine place to collect some new plants...bring your plastic baggies. :D

Thanks for the pics. I am planning another trip out there in August. Will likely stay in Mammoth and photodoc our trip. That place just makes me feel connected to it all.
