Hey guys. So ive got my tank all set up and I decided to start with an easy plant. Java moss.

Now I currently have DIY CO2 set up and its bubbling away nicely out of my diffuser.
I have 1.5 watts per gallon of light 12 hours a day.
    Water quality is good.

But for the life of me, whenever I put plants in my tank they just turn brown and die. This is whats happening to my java moss as well. When I put it in the tank 2 weeks ago it was lush and green and now its just wilting away.

I also tried fertilizing my tank when I had 2 anubis and 2 java fern and they both turned brown, got thin leaves and eventually died.

So guys any thoughts as to why my tank s killin plants?

I was thinking of buying an LED strip and upgrading my lighting so its closer to 3watts per gallon. Do you think this is the problem?

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

    Thanks

    Mike
