Cheers guys i will keep you all updated :)

Ive just setup a Co2 system, What do you guys think? Is there a better way to diffuse it or is this way good?

The only problem i have with it is that when it fully builds up in the Co2 bell i get one massive bubble that floats to the top.

Hey Keith I actually have one of those controllers on my system already. The photos i put up was misleading as the little clamp was attached to my air stone tubing and not the Co2 system. I wouldn't want that bottle exploding all over my floor lol :p

Since ive changed to a proper system i now have to put in 2 tsp of yeast as it takes a lot more pressure to pass through the system. Im getting about 1 bubble every 2 seconds though so im on the right track. Im trying to find the best way to get it diffused into the water. Ive heard lots of different ideas but finding which one is more effective is another matter

Had a few problems. My external filter decided to break and all my Anubias leaves started falling off, Really weird. Luckily the guy i bought them off game me a full refund as he said they might have been a bad batch he sent out.

I got lots of java moss instead and tied some to the rocks and DW. Im going to look into getting some more Anubias in the future but first im going to give some time to let everything else grow and hopefully can get on top of my algae problem.

Yeah the filter was new. It only works when its above the tank, It wont build up enough pressure below the tank as the water only gets halfway up the tube. Worst thing is I lost my receipt so i cant return it

Gary contact the Manufacturer and talk to them.

    Was the filter powerful enough?

What was wrong with the filter?

If you decide to buy a new filter, I would highly recommend the Eheim classic line. I have the 2211 model for my 10 gallon, and my brother has the 2213. The 2213 is much larger, and could nearly handle a 40 gallon. For me, the 2211 works just fine for 10 gallons. I hope this helps.

Gary over the years I have seen small cheap filters set up under the tank and its impossible for them to work efficiently.

I have always had my Eheim's set up so the top of the filter is level with the bottom of the tank or a little higher.

Hi Gary, Did you pay for the filter with a credit card ?? It will show on your bank statement. So you have a receipt.

    Gary

What is the latest on the filter did you replace it with a more powerful model?
