I have one very big concern.

At each end you have a good eye for lay out but its joined by a very uninteresting line of rocks.

In my opinion it distracts you from the good work you have done at each end.

The Buce will be the highlight in the middle. It will be so overgrown, all you will see is a tier. Mosses will also help out the landscape.

Sounds like it could be a very interesting Aquascape to follow.

Thank you Keith! I wish I could take a snapshot of the image I have in my mind of what the matured stage should look like....

It would be great look at your computer and a photo would be there of what you are thinking about.

i learned that hardscape planning gets a bit better with experience, specially when you start considering the grown plant image in your head instead of just looking at the hardscape infornt of you. mature aquascaping.

Exactly! I actually spent a good portion of the week researching Bucephalandra before I put the tank together. I got a general idea of how the plants would look in clumps once the rhizome started to spread and grow leaves. So, here's hoping that my foresight was on-point!

Today its a lot easier/quicker to do the research these days with the aid of Computers.

Aquascaping is easy compared to redesigning a large kitchen (which I partially destroyed by fire).

Aquascaping you can shift thing around or start again once a kitchen is under construction then being installed and finished it can be extremely costly to change things around.
I have redesigned/updated the Kitchen twice in 40 years.
