    Greetings,

Standard Rio 180 tank with filter
Dymax CO2 system with atomiser etc

Hi, hopefully this ones goes according to plan! The first was was loads of fun to do and I had a lot of help from the guys on here. Sadly this time I won't have that luxury because I have moved to the middle of nowhere. The success of it all is going to depend on what my LFS can get in really. They get shipments once every 4 - 6 weeks, so if they don't have everything I want (Not that I even know what I want yet) it's either making do with what they have or me waiting another few weeks to see what comes in the next delivery. The shipment arrives on Friday and from what they currently have in stock I'm going to have to use wood (Not my favourite thing) instead of rock as their rock selection is tiny and the next shipment only arrives in 5 weeks. So far I have the substrate and the CO2 system and hopefully by tomorrow I would have selected the best bits of wood they have, so I can start hassling folks on here for ideas with the hardscape. The most valuable thing I learned from Version 1 was this: Do whatever you think looks good because you are the one who is going to be looking at it every day. So I intend to go down that route as much as possible with the advice of the folks on here.

Driftwood (Such as it is) has been purchased. Depressing photos to follow. I expect my design is going to change from a double island type set up to a center/off to the left someplace layout.

And there it is...driftwood. Best of the bunch too. Thinking of bunching them together and making one big structure.

It all depends on what plants they are getting in on Friday. Apparently some good stuff, but I suspect the guy is being paid to say that.

That is a nice few pieces of DW you have, if I had to depend on what the LFS had or could get regarding plants I would be lucky enough to Aquascape a very bare tank.

Not that far back I was there when a new shipment arrived and most ended in the rubbish bin it was so bad.

DW is a totally different matter there seems to be a big and varied range around.

Here's hoping. I'm going in on Saturday and the LFS guy said he'll keep the best bits out for me. I need advice on a carpet plant though. I had Braziliensis before but it didnt go so well. Looking for something that can grow well in a medium light setup.

Yeah, the guy does love what he does. he's got some nice scapes in the store that he did himself. He's quite switched on. On the plus side, it's all ADA stuff so the quality should be good.

I like the full look of this layout, but I don't think my lighting is going to get the Cuba to carpet like that.
