Thanks :) Im really happy with the way it came out. I waited over a month to get it all started, so another week or 2 for everything to start growing and filling in will be ok hopefully :) With some luck I won't do something stupid and mess it all up hehehe

Looking great Mojo... Well done to you all... that tank will look great when it fills out. I hope you were pleased with the plants that Edis and Juri selected for you.

Yes, absolutely stunning selection. Particularly pleased with the Braziliensis instead of the standard ol HG option :) Even after 24 hours it's perked right up and looking strong. I put that down to the high quality of your plants of course :)

The brazil grass is growing quite tall. I might try trim it so that it grows sideways. It has started putting out a few extra shoots. I will give it another week and then put the lights on for an hour more and maybe a bit more co2 :)

I dont think new growth will be tall. Old leaves will die anyway. Increase lights 30min every week after one week.
And dont forget water changes as Juri said ;)
I think everything will be great. Braziliensis will do fine as well.

Yes, its coming along nicely. The Limnophila Aromatica started going a nice red yesterday and the Micranthemoides is sending out a few new shoots :) Will put up some new pics next week. Hopefully the Brasiliensis will have done something by then.

Getting ready to put some fish in over the next couple of weeks.

So far I am going to get:
    Otocinclus
    Japonica and/or red cherry shrimp

Any other suggestions? Preferably small, bright, non messy fish.

Also, something that won't eat all my shrimp would be nice :p

Got Cherry Shrimp if you want some, really red. Just got too many, so if you want some let me know, can give away about 5, enough to start a colony with some time.

Yep, I can take 5 for you. Also note that Edis is selling some of his, very cheap. :)

Buy 5 from him so that the two mix and have extra cute babies. :p

This isnt a problem but I'm a bit curious about it. Everything I have read about planted tanks says new tanks can expect to have diatoms show up at the begining for a bit. My "problem" is that I don't have any. Not one. 6.5 hours of light and co2 a day with EI ferts dosing. Plants all growing well enough.

Diatoms might come a bit later. But you have loads of fast growers so maybe this helps a lot.
