The wood is nice, and looks crazy similar to an iguana. Loved that you posted a picture of an iguana before showing us the wood.

I think the challenge in the current scapes is the wood sits in the dead center making it too symmetrical while at the same time not balanced. I think some smaller similar pieces around it to soften its strong presence and moving it to the left would help.

Thanks for sharing! Pretty cool your area was able to get Tom all the way out there to see you.

hi Shawn thanks for the comments. the wood is in its original position as before. all the small things like petite and stauro to give emphasis on the pathway FP was removed the reason why it look somewhat symmetrical.

Tom and you has same idea......instead of stones, i should have put wood.

my iggy wood shape was already removed as the body underneath the sub occupy too much space [tank is 22ltrs] the photo was just for show:D .....but the grass still there. i am preparing the tank for an iwagumi scape.

personally, i've noticed Tom is a soft spoken guy. my friends who entertained Tom for several days said that Tom is a cool guy, as if, he is a long time friend.

in several photos you will noticed that Tom Barr was in carsual wear. it's summer in
    the Philippines....at 34 - 35  too hot.

thanks all for viewing as well for the like received;)

Nice piece of wood - I often see animal like looking hardscape but never made something out of them, maybe I should give them a try ..

btw. do you have pictures of other entrants?

    Mr ED

You have to start somewhere a hobbyist only is an excellent start at least they have a chance of gaining a place if not its a great place to learn.
