Within a split second of seeing that tank I was in a deep rocky gully on my Sons bush land property.

    It looks so real

When he realised he actually owned that creek and gully he gave it to the National Parks so it could not be damaged or polluted in any way.

I kicked the tree over a little yes it does look more natural.

Red dot is very close to the focal point.

Red X you might have to place a small rock there with a plant on it to hide the tree if it looks like it could fall over.

The river bed has a very good shape and looks very natural.

    White sand ????

Just a little warning it not stay that colour and "could" be difficult to keep clean.

With all the black rocks I would expect to see a river bed of the same rocks.

@khairin the more I look at this layout the more appreciative I am of the details and complexity of the aquascape. From the river bed, variation in height, and the moss tree. This layout is terrific.

Hi Khairin , What a stunner  And now you put the sand in opens up the rock work ;)Will be hard to keep clean?? But works:) One thing LH side front sand Seems to be running up hill From where the two small rocks are at the front to the shrimp Would look better if this was just curved with the darker substrate round the two small rocks  But that just me thinking :giggle:

The white sand is looking dirty already, I personally would make it a dry creek bed or a walkway by using a topping the same colourings as the rocks.

Other than that you tank looks very healthy and a pleasure to look at
