So I saw what I thought as a HUGE Planaria. I recently got rid of them in my tank (for now) so I thought that this must have been some huge Godzilla-type of planaria that somehow survived.

It wasn't crawling on the glass like Planaria do; it was stuck ont he glass. I found out that it's a leech that must have come on one of my plants.

I caught one last week and saw another today but just missed it in my net! When I catch him I'll upload a picture.

Just a warning to people that buy plants online; wash them well to avoid these critters!

I don't think it will hurt my fish (although it is 3 inches long), but it's freaky putting my arm in the water knowing there's a python-sized leech in my tank.

    The hunt will continue...

I just caught one! I have a feeling it was a different one though.

    Sorry the picture is terrible.

Do they pose any danger to my fish?
