    what do you think?

i got some glosso on the weekend, iwas thinking about splitting up the tenellus and putting some glosso in the middle, kinda like htis:

    XXXXxxxx..........xxxxXXXX

X's being crypts on the left and parviflorus on the right
    x's being the tenellus
    .'s being the glosso

anyway thats my tank, it needs a trim, i will get to that tomorrow, it will be my first major prune, so i am a bit worried...

i feed them frozen bloodworms, live mosquito larvae as a treat, tetra bits, tetra breeder bits, freeze dried daphnia, frozen garlic plus blocks and flakes, so they get quite a varied diet :)

they are pretty big, so i only feed them twice a day, and my cory's tend to clean up the substrate quite nicely...

i had beard algea in my previous setup, i did a treatment of double dosing with flourish excel and got some mollies, and changed out my tubes - they were more than a year old - and it all went away, the mollies are now in my 20g and that is also algae free. some came back when i got a bit lazy with dosing and had issues with my sera co2 regulator, but after i got a regulator with a solenoid, increased my co2 a bit and sorted out my fert balance and it also went away... whereabouts do you have bba? it might be cause of a few things, low flow etc. your filter might need a clean...

Stunning site, with great scapes and lots of great ideas. If only we could get hold of some of these plant species. ;)

    thanks goldfinger...

those are the cuttings, decent plants are hard to come by in south africa, so everyone trades trimmings :)

So you let those in a bag in the water before you plant them?

    Why is that?
