    back to topic post:

my first scape was and is still an iwagumi style.

as i wasnt new to growing plants it was easy to find a ballance and to get it green without algae.

now after few months the problem i have - I´m not lucky with this scape!
the hardscape is not well balanced and the choice of plants wasnt perfect.
My next steps will be a rescape and a new choice of plants.

The thing I want to say: many of aquascapers maybe have found a balance to manage an iwagumi tank but their tanks a far away from beein perfect.
And as I think the motor, the machine, the reason because we all do aquascaping is the wish to create something perfect and there will allways be something we will have to critique and if not we on our own, then somebody else who will think to be able to do it better, then we done it before. It never ends, there will be different trends and a natural evolution, some guys will go back to the roots of nature others will do modern scapes inlcuding maybe neon lights or parts of Lego stone, i dont know :D
