They say their price is the highest but isn't ADA's higher than ista's?

They do have products way cheaper than ADA's for sure. But they are good compared to many other brands like sunny, resun, etc. They have mpney because they sell much instead of selling less at higher prices. We can say they are "more affordable" instead of "cheap".

Not because a brand is chinese is bad quality, let's remember that almost everything is made in. China. I have from ista a double tap valve. As good as my eheim, and I also own some glass stuff from brands I don't know that are sold my Ada in $100. Anyway this is not the topic, the real deal is a nice contest with very attractive prizes

Nobody said they are bad. We said they are cheap. In fact i like their products. All my co2 diffusers (3) are from ista and I'm pleased with them.

I totally agree with you: nice prizes in this contest and they are not excessively restrictive with the submissions. I hope they make a nice event that can be enjoyed by many hobbyists around the globe, be a good experience And get a nice showcase from it.

So is IIAC going to publish the contest photos? Or is there a copyright issue... to avoid legal action from IAPLC... Hmm...

I see that they took multiple photographs during the same photoshoot and then submitted the different pictures to different contests. I would probably make it a bit more obvious by using different lighting angles and backgrounds.

I'm really not a fan of the diorama arrangements. Some of them would have looked much better if they simply kept them as nature scapes.

Yep. I should have done the same myself as I didn't enter due to the ADA rules but I can see quite a few familiar ones in there

There are some amazing aquascapes there.

No1 certainly stood out well above the rest.

I was comparing the photos submitted to ADA and IIAC just to see if they were different photos or identical ones. The different locations of fish indicated they were different photos. Did IAPLC do what I did to see if they can unleash their legal action team? Hehe..

    Solcielo lawrencia,

Every thing would depend on the rules and the fine print.

No matter how you take the photo or position of the fish its still the same Aquascape, it could be a legal nightmare.
