Does it take (roughly speaking) for water in a new setup to clear - mine has been running for 1½ days and it's a bit unclear. I have used a little tetra initial (a bout half the amount the box said) and soume liquid ferts. I'm i just being hysterical here or ??
It depend on the substrate I guess. When I'm using ADA aquasoil, it take about 5 days. Lapis sand is faster because I wash lapis sand seperately. You csn do water change, it should help.
there are two reason for cloudy water, dirt from the soil and bacteria bloom. New filter might cause the 2nd one.
