Sorry for late introductions ... ..

I have just started aquascape and still learning. I'm from Sri Lanka and hear we have limited resource for Aquascape. But I'm doing my best. Hope to learn lot from you guys

Driftwood, rocks are very easy to find. fish also can find easy. Beside local aquatic plants imported plants are hard to find.

    Cheers

    Welcome to ASW.

It must be very hard to do your hobby when there are not many places you can get supplies, can you import plants and fish or are there import restrictions stopping you?

Now your Aquascape if this is your first attempt at aquascaping you have done a good job, there are a few concerns but nothing to worry about make this your learning tank.

What would help at the moment is replacing that big heavy piece of DW Drift Wood its rather heavy and far too big for your Aquascape with a thinner and lighter piece or pieces of DW.

Its would be a pity to cut it up try to sell it and get a few lighter twiggy pieces.

That sounds great, looks like you will have to put a foam filter over your inlet and one over the syphon hose other wise you will be sucking the baby shrimp up.

If you have a solid filter block just cut a deep X at one end it works very well also easily removed for cleaning.

It will work with many inlet tubes/pipes.

It certainly looks a lot better with that big piece of DW gone.

That's a good start.I guess with all those plants you have in your tank and moss, you don't need anything else but just your creativity.

At the moment keep the plants growing as they are and keep adjusting the plants until you get a very good healthy planted tank.
