    Hi,

I specifically searched for a site like this, because I want to enter the water-world of mini gardeners

I'm wish to attempt setting up a planted 35l, 40 x 32 x 28 cm Nano style. Other than what I have read I know nothing about the practical side of how to do this. So where better to find the answers to my questions....consult the experts of course.(y)

This particular project is destined to sit on my desk at home........

However, I'm not unfamilar with aqauriums or fish.....but, my scaping skill's rely solely on using 75kgs of sand, 2000l/hr filtration and 75kgs of rock....guess which fish species I keep

I hope you all have a good day ;)

Welcome to ASW You have come to the right place to learn about Aquascaping.

Can you fill in your location as well as your Country please.

I suggest you start by researching Nano style here and Google post a few photos of what you would like to do as your first aquascape.

    https://www.google.com.au/search?q=...bih=671#hl=en&tbm=isch&q=nano+aquascape+ideas

I strongly suggest select a few that you can do certainly not an Award winning Aquascape that would be way beyond your level of knowledge.

We will guide you through step by step what ever you decide do not race into it reason being I can guarantee the next posting will be massive HELP.

Have you done any research on what you would like to do?

Hunt out every LFS in your area who is interested in you not your money.

If there are any members in your area they should be able to assist you.

    Thanks Keith,

Yes, over the years I have read a number aquatic of books, including Diana Walstad's EotPA.
I'm now in the process of setting up a 35lt "scape"...............I have everything I need, except the plants.
Because this is a desktop project, I'm currently building in the CO2 so it cannot be seen, then I will be good to go.
Also, I have 30 years of fishkeeping experience, so I'm hoping that will hold me in good stead.
I'm in no hurry with this project, it's purely decorative, so I don't think it will become a mainstream hobby, I have enough of those already:ROFLMAO:(y)

With all that experience it will certainly be appreciated here on ASW.
