Are we still gonna' go noodlin' at Plantfest? I'm planing on being an experienced noodler by then !!! Hahaha...Hopefully I'll still have all my fingers!
welcome to ASW! :welcome::welcome::welcome:
Thanks guys! This place is great.
Yes, we will go noodlin for sure. I have my camera ready.
There are these fisherman who swim around in a muddy rivers with a long stick. They then look for holes/caves in the banks or on the bottom of the river. Once they have found a hole they hold there breath, dive down and reach in the hole blind. They then wait for a massive catfish (40+LBS) to chomp down on your hand and you then pull him out bare fisted. Its like giant cat fish wrestling. I must say its totally crazy..
This is called hand grabbing where im from. I know someone that grabbed a 76 pound catfish this way.
You guys are nuts, but I bet the cat fish fry's are good. I love fish fry's!
Yeah they are fun. The only thing when catfish get that big the meat is not really any good to eat.
You got to be kidding me!
I don't think you'll find me shoving my hand in any dark holes under the water. I'll stick to the classic method of a night crawler worm and a fishing pole. But then again maybe not, "fish are friends not food!" :loco:
Yeah Im with you. I plan on being the camera guy and post fish fry helper.
If we can find some I'm totally down for it. I'll try to have a few runs under my belt before Plantfest. Are there any high places to jump in the water from? I deffnately will practice catch and release if I even catch anything. I'm more worried about the snapping turtles than anything . I can't wait for the summer!!!
There are plenty of tree jumping spots along most springs. We will have some good fun for sure..
Hi Orlando, glad to see another respected member of TTG (The Green Gang), we will need lots of Co2 around here ;=)
