    Hello aqua fanatics!

My name is Brad and I'm from Western Australia. I live about an hours drive south from the capital, Perth. It's a pretty place. The population is small, so nature hasn't been ruined (not too much).

I've had fish tanks since I was a kid, but only got into planted tanks about 4 years ago. I currently have a Mini M, a Cade 1ft and a Cade 2ft. In the coming months I hope to start a 4ft shallow tank (120x40x37 is what I’m thinking).

From memory I’ve done 13 planted scapes. But, as typical I guess, only my last 3 or 4 have been any good. I’ve entered iaplc once (2014) and really surprised myself with a rank of 299. Which was amazing considering it was a just 1ft shrimp tank (no fish). This year 2 of my friends entered iaplc for the first time and both ranked in the top 100! They are amazing and I hope to learn more from them.

I'm on a few forums. I joined here about a week ago. I look forward to thoroughly exploring ASW. Already I see some mega talent. [IMG]

I had some tech difficulties signing up, so thanks to greenfinger 2 and jurijs for helping me out.

And a pic, we all love pics. This is my 2ft as of a week ago. On the weekend I added little bits of monte carlo, hc and glosso. And 20 ember tetras were placed in the tank the other day too.

Look at that high arching ridge on the first pic of the post above! That's spectacular.

Welcome to ASW! Thanks for sharing!

    Brad

Those rocky Aquascapes are just amazing what inspired these in the first place.

The most recent scape was inspired by 'the cove' by robertus (singaporean scaper)

There is something in all your scapes that's worth admiring.
