Hello everyone, I stumbled upon this forum the yesterday and thought I should register right away and say hello. I have been in this hobby since 2004, but got bitten by the Planted tank bug 3 years ago.

My First tank was a 15 Gallon tank that was actually gifted by my mom after I completed my schooling.
I always knew I wanted to get a bigger tank. Finally, I could afford it after I started working. :)
Thousands of Bucks later I still know that I have loads to learn.

Was mesmerized by the Journal- “Colorado - 80x45x45 Optiwhite” from Supercoley1.

Currently, planning to start a new scape with a Bonsai driftwood I bought it from my recent trip to the UK:love:

Cold tap water will do the same job just keep changing the water regularly. Its certainly an interesting piece of DW.

    Thanks Keith:)

I hope to start a Journal pretty soon.

I'm still pondering about the plants and the layout:rolleyes:
Also, hunting for suitable rocks to go with it!

I'm planning for a fusion of Bonsai on a hill + Jungle style (I love to have lots of plants;)).

    Regards,
    Karthik

That sounds like an interesting combination of design features.
