Thanks for the links. I've seen some local hobbyists using that cute canister.

By the way, out of desperation... I installed the small pump that came with the tank. Tried with air supply (I figure cool air from outside might help bring down the temperature) but it created a lot of foam on the surface... just like a protein skimmer.

Then I tried using the tiny rainbar that came with it. The effect was quite promising... able to constantly wet some parts of the DW with tiny splashes to keep the plants moist.

Just have to hide it from front view using some plants. Will continue to test it... might remove the mistmaker if this rainbar works.

Very nice GF ! FWIW about the fogger, I have a Hagen ExoTerra in an emersed plants setup and it only has one red led.

I'm with Carole, with all respect it looks more like a paludarium than a vivarium ;=)

I too think for filtration a Zoo Med 501 would fit nicely.

    Cheers

On Edit : 2 votes for the ZooMed 501, lol.

Sorry for the confusion... it's just that the word Vivarium has been used so loosely making me believe that mine's considered one. Can MOD help me change my title to GREEN PALUDARIUM? Thanks!

One day I'm going to give a paludarium a try, I've always like them. The mister gives the setup a nice touch.

I've never seen mini bolbitus before. It must not be available here in the states yet. I definately want some when it is.

If you don“t want the light from the leds you can easy glue some black silicone on top of them. I did this once and it still works great. I think the blue space looking light only do this setup harm!

Actually nothing. Just a snail :)) I am still monitoring the water temperature and dare not risk any fish or inverts at the moment.
