I will try to explain... Stara Planina, Babin zub The Balkan mountain range [Bulgarian and Serbian: Stara planina, " Old Mountain "] is an extension of the Carpathian mountain range, separated from it by the Danube River . The Balkan range runs 560 km from eastern Serbia eastward through central Bulgaria to Cape Emine on the Black Sea. Most popular place is Babin zub. Ski resort Babin Zub (Granny’s tooth) offers opportunities for tourism and sports events. Its picnic areas are set in areas of natural beauty and are a real place for rest and recreation. The highest point on the territory is Midžor on Stara Planina [2169 meters], which is the same time the highest peak in the Republic of Serbia .
Absolutely stunning. You captured your inspiration very well. This may be one of my favorites aquascapes I've seen this year. -John N.
The path is very well laid, I feel like waking it all the way to whereever it leads . A little diversity in texture(at the rear mountain and foreground HC) would have brought some good depth to this scape.
I agree John I was looking at the full picture and thinking it was impressive. Then I saw the fish. I can't believe the tank is as small as it is. looks huge from the scape I also like how the 'woodland' in the fore of the hillside has been done. Really does look like you are looking past it toward the hilside. Top notch
Great work roud: how about some technical information? I bet you´re running this one as low tech - because the HC growth is a bit leggy.. but it suits the scape perfectly
Lighting: 5x18w t8 Substrate: Magma Supstral 2l, JBL Aquabasis plus 3l, Aquaclay 20l CO2: pressurized 3bps, JBL CO2 Vario Reactor + Extension Filtration: Neo 701 1200l/h , cirkulation Atman at-301 Thanks Jur4ik
I think some people are seeing the light Jurik This is the second scape I've seen today where the scaper hasn't followed the 'manicured lawn' unspoken rule with the HC. I think it looks great. Of course the low carpet looks good too. Each in their own fit in certain ways but this works a treat in both this scape and the other Maybe John's question r.e. creativity is being answered here. People are doing different things with certain plants than has been done before Creativity with the way they use the plants rather than a more technical aspect It's good to see and long may it continue. AC
HC is a nice "clay", and experiment with this plant is a great pleasure. I love when HC is higher for easier formatting. My way is often pruning (every two weeks). roud:
