After many years of reef keeping I decided to try a freshwater planted tank. I've had freshwater tanks before but didnt seriously try to do an aquascape. So here's my first real aquascape planted tank so far.

Sorry to say its not an actual Aquascape my suggestion do a lot of research on Aquascapes in your size tank then post a few photos of the tanks that inspire you.

On the plus size its a simple piece of DW yet effective of a variety of plants. Some of the leaves do not look the best. The rocks look very carefully placed to keep the DW upright.

White substrate is certainly not the easiest to keep clean plus yours is very glary.

    Hi Dan

Looks like your not using CO2 not an issue, but the substrate your using has no nutrients, so I would advise you get some and add once/twice a week, doesn't need much but will keep the plants much healthier.
How long of a photoperiod are you using?

It's hard to tell the plants at the rear of the tank are they attached to any thing or in the substrates?

Can you give us a list of all the ferts quantities and how often.
Water changes percentage and how often?
Filtration type and size how is it cleaned?
Do you have any Carbon in your filter?
