    Hi everyone !

Could somebody tell me what is the name of that fish? ( the black and orange one) The photograph comes from the Amano site (hope this is ok) and is said to be taken in Amazonia.
Thankyou all for your attention and help !

    Hi Saumya ! :)
Thank you very much for your attention. Ok, I see now something very approaching indeed. I'm searching for days to tell you the truth.
But what do you think about the two main black lines on the middle of the body? They seem to cross each other, forming like an "X" to the third back one. The leporinus pearsoni has got straight lines covering the entire lenght of the body. And the colours here are much different. Not that "orange look".
Now, it's maybe just a photographic effect that enforces some colours, but when I look at the rest (the other fishes and the plants), it looks to me to be quite natural colours...
    So I can't be shure...
Anyways, the moment I think I have found our man, be shure I get back to you to tell you.
Thank you and take good care of you:)
Hope we get back in touch soon.
    Fred
