Focus on keeping your tank and filter clean and your CO2 high.
    Here is a little inspiration.

Inspiration is something to aim for it can tank many years to get to that competition level.

Starting of slowly and learning as you progress can hasten that process .

Wow it almost looks like a true rimless tank for a fraction of the cost! I think you will be very happy with the fact that you de-rimmed it. Remember, go slowly on the hardscape. Its IMO one of the two most difficult parts. One tiny rotation, or moving a piece of hardscape 1 cm in a direction makes a huge differnce. Set up the initial hardscape, post it on here, let it sit for a day, come back the next day, do the suggestions from here, repeat. As Keith has told me many times if you have a decent hardscape set up and then you move a bunch of stuff you are going to lose any vision you had. People on here can take a mediocre aquascape and turn it into a beautiful one!

It took a little while for you to slow down and what you are doing now by helping another member looks like it was well worth the effort.
That is practically word for word what I was always telling you and many others.
