    Cheers Keith,
yes some of the works are truly stunning and they rank also top in IAPLC.
Its a pleasure to see european aquascapers slowly conquering the world rankings :)

Looking at the WK's one particular is extremely interesting, its a great effort but is it a WK?.

What is the actual ruling definition of a WK?

well we said its ok for this year, next year as the Wabi Kusa trend is evolving we will have to make the rules more clear in order to avoid misunderstandings and provide same rules to everyone

No, applying new rules is never fun. One always spent hours thinking about, how to make it most clear to everybody. And by the end of the day, people still ask questions.. Mission impossible :D I shouldn't take this too serious thought

Is it possible after you have a draft copy of the new rules, ask the previous winners to go over them first.

No matter how tight they are some will try to work around them to their benefit.

It might be the following year before you can get them water tight.

sure is a good opportunity to engage with the participants and make the rules, as you say: "water proof" ;)
