I present a little Spanish gem, Dugastela valentina . This shrimp its color is very variable among individuals of the same area. Adult males and females at the time of reproduction acquire tones that make them dark, sometimes bright blue stripes and other individuals have white dots on a transparent or brownish. Some become translucent , and even acquire some red pigmentation in the area of the cephalothorax.

Dugastella valentina and Aetyaephyra desmarestii are two lovely European species of shrimps !!

Thank you Diego for the excellent photos !!

    Just a thought of mine..
Notice that most European and Australian species of shrimps are protected and illegal to be cought from their natural environment, while in Asia things are different and a considerable damage might be done due to pressure on wild populations by collecting and trading exotic shrimp species .

Thank you Raven , but in Spain aquarists are not the problem ,there are other most serious reasons , as the uncontrolled urbanization, lack of management oversight on the issue of illegal dumping and irrational use of water-related resources, such as altered in the environment in some regions, already numerous plant and animal species facing dire consequences .

Orlando, if I could, did not need to pay anything .

Tenshu, I saw the link, Athyaephyra desmaretii thousand at one time, awesome .
