I can't explain why I like this but I do. The wood size, shape and colouration is hugely distracting but for some reason it works AC
E da, vidio sam ovaj postav na akvarij.netu i svidio mi se ,,a sad mi se sviđa još i više jer su fotke veće pa se bolje vidi kako ta tvoja džunglica izgleda totalno prirodno...:=D>:yo:
haha another deep jungle, love it !!! your tank make me feel I am not alone because i have a aquascape so dense like u
why am I thinking on "alice in wonderland" when I look at this scape - because it is wild and crazy like the move "alice in wonderland" and I like it roud:
Thanks guys. I like yours comments a lot (especially “Alice in wonderland”). All of you captured spirit of the tank and my basic idea. First I wanted tank to be as natural as possible and to resemble wild underwater habitat (to be a truely home for all: plants, fishes and invertebrates). I decided to make a hardscape and initial planting and then to leave tank to the mother nature to do job for me. A lot of this plants were left to float and to find its oven place in tank (some: najas, Ceratopteris , Cardamine , Riccia, Ceratophyllum, Shinnersia, mosses.) Chladophora sp. (on a branches) was the only algae in the tank. I did not put it inside the tank deliberately, but I left it there as it fit concept of the tank perfectly. All later pruning of plants actually were just opening the view for better sightseeing. I was more then satisfied by the job mother nature had done in this tank. Second goal was to show that an interesting setup could be made by not-demanding plants (combination of fast and slow growing ) and in some mix of low-tech and medium light conditions. Presented photos are only the snapshots: one captured moment in very dynamic life of this underwater habitat... Here are some more photos from different periods of tank and some details
seem like u and me re sharing a point of view in aquascape about the wildness, hope u keep it up on ur following tank
This tank is still alive and in last few months it passes few changes and different stages. I started with DIY CO2 adding with bell diffuser. Now it is one year old. Stable and very easy for maintaining. Here are some photos. Interesting side view With najas cloud above... And present look with najas trimmed and new branches added above those hidden by plants. :hi:
Very inspring scape. It is a lovely tank to view even in photos. I am sure if viewed in the flesh its even more awe inspring. Well done!
