Found some Zip ties with stainless steel tooth to hold it tight. Used 3 on the main bundles, small to attach plants to driftwood.

For durable locking in adverse conditions such as humidity, heat, cold, vibration and shock. The corrosion-proof non-magnetic steel tooth on these cable ties firmly anchors inside the cable tie body for a secure lock. The flammability rating for Cable Ties with Stainless Steel Tooth is UL 94 V2, and the operating temperature is -40ºC to +85ºC.

Sounds like a very good idea plus its safe to use.

Zip ties worked great, all the copper has been replaced.
Have close to 100 baby cherry shrimp in the filter and tank.
Here are photos of the 3 tanks 40 breeder, 55 gal and 75 gallon after trimming. Going to have to get a flash for the phone or a digital camera. 08-18-2017-40b.jpg 08-18-2017-55.jpg 08-18-2017-75.jpg
