    Hi all

This is not a very impressive thing. But im sharing my simple fish tank diy kit

This control my lights and feeder

i have assigned time to light up the lights and turn off the light at night.

Also feed my fish on given time. 2 times per day.

    And monitor my tank temperature.

I use arduino uno and relay module well as temporary sensor and 1 micro servo.

Next improvement is dimming lights to replicate sun rise and sun set..

Automatic usually block up because of the moisture.

The tech should be fine. It's exposed to a lot of open air and is not super close to the aquarium. The device looks fun. How much did it take to make it?

    mevanpl,

What is the distance from the top of the water to the food outlet.

The outlet if all the food has not fallen into the tank it can get damp by the tank water and the next time it releases food some food sticks to the damp food and so it continues.

I have had a high quality brand name and it blocked, over the years being an Advisor and a Mod it often comes up about automatic feeders blocking.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquarium_fish_feeder

This will explain it in every detail.

Like 12cm above. And it drop direct to the filter water out area once food drop it goes direct inside and my fish take all very fast. Im dropping 2 times .

Only thing i need to solve is food getting open to air.

    I use hikari micro palates

About how you to correctly set the dimmer. If there is a sketch and item list it will be cool

Very interested in this! are there any inputs on this? Or serial only? Did you write the code or get it from somewhere?
