Hi everyone, Thought I'd pop up my low tech tank. It was posted up a bit ago on garuf's thread 'get excited and make something' so thought I'd put it on here. It's the total opposite of what I'm normally used to so no co2, rarely any water changes and occasional ferts added. It's gone through a few changes since it was set up at the end of April so will pop a few different progress pics up. Have changed the emmersed/riparium plants out and replaced with prayer plants, piece Lilly's and and antherium lily. This is how it looks now. Specs: Size - 120x70xh30cm Substrate: very small amount of John innes, capped with columbo florabase and Ada Amazonia new And lots of leaf litter. Lighting: ati sunpower 4 x 54 watt, originally had just 2 tubes on but with the extra foliage and the fact the unit is now 4 foot above the substrate I run all 4 for 8 hours. Co2: non Water changes: rarely any. 10% once a month of that. Filtration: fluval 306 set on low flow Ferts: occasional quarter spoon of kno3. A pinch of kh2po4 and seachem equilibrium Plants: lots of cryptocoryne wendtii green, wendtii tropica, Echinodorous tennelus, Mosses, Juncus repens Microsorum trident Needle leaf java fern Hydrocotyle sp Japan Fauna: 11 chocolate gouramis 10 licorice gouramis 35 red cherry shrimp 15 bee shrimp 6 amano shrimp Otocinclus 4 baby albino corys. Really beautiful. Do you have any filtration or circulation? EDIT: Saw that you had a filter now on low circulation.
