    Green Lace Shrimp/Green Biak Shrimp
    Scientific Name~ Atyoida Pilipes
    size~5-7 cm / 2-2.7"
    temp~ 24-28*C/73-82*F
    PH~6.0-8.0
    Plillipines, New Guinea,Indonesia
The shrimp has small filter feeding 'fans' it uses to filter feed small particulate food. They need brackish to full salt to successfully reproduce.
IME they will also grab food from plants & off the bottom. Mine have turned a beautiful mottled blue, gold, & brown.I did read some articles that suggested only females are imported..they are larger. Another said they thought perhaps they are m/f while young, but change to female as they age. Or something weird like that.
    Thanks everyone..I really like them.
