    Hallo !
I have not posted lately but that's because I am very busy working lately ,and my new aquascape (300lit "Zeus throne") is not ready yet for presentation ;;)
But today I have something different for you. I am a professional artist and this is my 2nd painting inspired from aquatic life.
    Hope you like the L190
    Acrylics on canvas 60X50cm.

Outstanding Raven. You have a major talent for art. I would love to see the first piece you created.

Thank you guys, I am proud you liked my art.

John, thank you ! I am sad that I dont have any free time to paint anymore, since I have to work hard in 2 more jobs, just to survive. Even aquascaping and maintaining a show tank is a difficult task for me, that's why I did'nt made it this year to finish my aquascape for IAPLC 10 :(
Since you asked...this is my 1st aquatic painting. It is a turqoise discus and was sold in an on-line auction . All the money went to our national Greek Aquarist's Club.
It was a very difficult fish portrait. Especially the various blue hues, were sooo difficult to be combined naturally , and the labyrinth of the patterns was a challenge too !!

Amazing. It's a shame you don't have time to create anymore paintings. I for one would be willing to purchase your pieces for my office. Really great work.

very nice paintings raven, you are a man of many talents.

sorry to hear the jobs are taking away from your time for more enjoyable activities.

Best of luck and hopefully things will improve. Then you will have more time to share your talents!

    Hi Raven,
Beautiful piece! I would love to see the same detail as on the bottom right side of the painting (seems like plants) also on the left side -- it seems rather empty as of now.
The colour and details are fantastic and I love the extra touch of the water lettuce at the top. :113:

I'm impressed. Nice work of art. Artistic expression all the way, whether the medium is canvas or an aquascape. You are blessed with the gift of both.^:)^

Ī¤hank you guys ! glad you like my paintings.

I have bought a large white canvas for 5 months now and I am desperately trying to find some free time to start a new painting. The theme is going to be Pterophyllum altums in their natural habitat.
