I'm just wondering how killifish are to keep and why I don't see many of them in planted tanks, aside from the obvious jumping tendencies and the nature of obtaining them from eggs and hatching them out. They do look very nice little fish.

Awesome planted tank fish with massive mouths for their size and will eat shrimps really well, but atlas, they are very good jumpers.

    Awesome fish though.

If you can deal with having large amano shimp, you should be okay, and tight fitting lids.

I have found a 2 inch strip of plexiglass along the edges of my aquarium keep them in. They are neat fish for sure. Some don't play well with others, ie fin nippers.
