    They are really cute
We call them tenderly "Ringelsocken" (means: annulated socks)
I think because the German name for this fish is Ringelhechtling...

It is also often a nickname for red bees.

Yeah, those killies are the first fish I ever wanted. But they are quite difficult to find in regular shops here. But there's a dedicated "club" near Paris. So I may get some there.

As for the lid, it's not glass, it's PMMA ; kind of plastic. It's really light. And easy to cut & paste.
It is sitting on a 1cm plastic edge. It is, by design, dedicated to host a lid.

Let it grow, let it grow, let it grow... :D
DSM for the moment. The DW still hasn't sinked into the bucket

Hi ptiJo, Nice idea  Are you mist spraying the moss while you are doing the DSM ?

Dunno. It depends on its state when the light will come on at 1pm. If it seems too dry, I'll mist a bit.
I'm not running DSM for the method itself. I just don't want to fill the tank and take water out when the DW will be ready :D

That is a good very idea making that Moss wall first, many often try to start a Moss wall after the tank is established and wonder why its so difficult to do.

DW has finally sinked. So it is time to install. DSM would not have last long... Anyway, I'm not sure it was working well... Have to mist every day so that moss and Anubia leaf don't dry. Seemed to me, Anubia should have even been misted twice a day. Can't afford this :)

So here is the whole stuff done.

Thanks! Got to daily talk to it to have it grow faster :D

There are 2 big bits in the middle, 4 bits on the left, 2 bits on the right. All of them from the single Anubia I got when I started in 2012 :)

The Anubia looks very healthy, once established it will completely cover and hide all the DW any way.

It will be interesting to see how the moss wall develops.

That bubble is doing a great balancing act on the edge of the Anubia leaf.

    Great photo.
