    [COMMENTS]
The aquascape transport us to the forests of Africa, and the valleys below the rocky outcrops, with the large trees providing shade to the animals that dwell on it.

The fish are at their best habitat, open areas for swimming, but also hiding places to explore and feel at home.

With such greenery of plants one feels fresh and invigorated after a couple of minutes of gazing at the aquascape, a refuge from the bustle and hustle of the city of London.

A true piece of nature at home.

Well done sir! How aggressive are you on the trimming of the hydrocotyl? It is very think and lush.

The hydrocotyle is a weed.. Trimmed every two weeks for two month, then let grow one month for the picture.

It will now be taken out and planted on the garden, got an emersed scape for it.. :)

This is only scape in recent memory that has used Hydrocotyle sp. 'Japan' as a main foreground plant. It really looks nice and certainly refreshing to look at verses all the other HC/glosso layouts out there.

What are the "wispy" tall background plants in the back?

    Thanks John..

The wispy plants were a surprise. Hygrophila augustifolia. Amazing grow, gives a look similar to cyperus but much easier to grow.

I trimmed the stem down an the leaves reach 30cm, so unless you look closely you would not know what it was.

the foreground plant is very cool. I really like the leaves on it. sort of different from what I usually see.
