Hi, im new to tropical fish(ive wanted a tank for ages)and would appreciate some advise,1st im getting a Fluval Edge Aquarium 46 Litre(only got limited amount of space) and i'm not unsure how many fish this size tank will accommodate.i was thinking 1 Betta Splendens,8 to 10 Neon Tetra and 1 Panda Cory.ive been reading up abit on the Betta and these fish seem to be ok tank mate's but as i say im new to this.2nd when the tanks up and running do you put all the fish in at once?or put Betta in 1st for a few days then add the other fish?

I don't think any Betta will be comfortable in this tank, as I remember Fluval Edge is filled up to the top glass cover and Betta fish need surface to breath with air from time to time, like any labirynth fish, don't think one cory will be ok either - they like to be in group

Yes Betta's are air breathers also great jumpers a top is a must BUT there must be sufficient space between the top of the water and the glass cover.

I sent you a PM did you get it?
