looks great Juri! The mix of plants and placement is superb. What is the short stem you have used? A plant list when you are ready to share the details would be great!

    How old is the setup?

    Thanks Jan ;)

This new stem is awesome! Whatch the detail shot #2

    Plants from Tropica
    - 5x HC
    - 1x Riccia
    - 2x Marselia Hirsuta (1-2-grow)
    - 2x Ammania spec. bonsai (1-2-grow)
    - 5x Eleocharis parvula
    - 5x Echinodorus tenellus

    Cheers Shawn,
today is exactly day 7 -> 1 week old

    Thx Garuf,

got inspired by Frank Wazeters recent Mini M Iwagumi to try some oldschool Amano technique ;) Riccia Dwarf would have been nicer, but had no to time to get some, so simply ordered the regular one from Tropica.

Here is day 7 -> 1 week update picture of the very same corner, watch the gaps - they are almost closed!

Well, little diatom appeared but nothing to worry about, should be gone within a few water changes :)

Wow. I absolutely love this scape. Normally I'm not into Iwagumi - but this one! Wow :)
Is your m. hirsuta growing with 4 leaves? How do you get it to do that, if I may ask?

    Thanks everybody,
I was almost 1 week not at home (Roadtrip to Denmark) and after I came home I found out that the light and Co2 must have been on all the time...
Stay tuned for the "before & after" photos to be uploaded tomorrow!

I have no idea. This one is from 1-2-grow cup made by Tropica. I used it in the past and it produced only 5-10% of this shaped leafs, but now it is like 100% this shape. I really hope it will stay that way
