Going big with the Aquasky... What type of tank are you ultimately going to make? Heavily planted?

    Minimalistic Iwagumi style
Just not sure if I should go for a single carpet plant or a mix and what to do with background planting or in-between the rocks..
I might use a mix of Elatine Hydropiper with HC as carpet and Hydrocotyle Japan in the back crawling between the rocks to the front mixed with some Eleocharis or Tenellus ..

I'm looking for a really detailed carpet so mixing plants is a must.

I might make usage of the brand new Eleocharis Mini from Tropica 1-2-Grow range as well.
Or how about some small pebbles with Fissidens spread around the big stones?

    Professional technique!(y)
I look forward to the sequel.

I think the mini parvula, parvula and the tenellus better fit into the small tank.
The mini parvula light demanding plant.
The hydropiper good, but the slow-growing plants.

Looks great Jurijs! Your off to a great start. The multi plant carpet with EH and HC sound sweet. I am attempting a similar idea in my big tank however the small amount of EH I have is growing really slowly and looks like the HC will soon take over completely.

Great shots and step by step approach fun to watch. I will be following this one as it comes along.

Love the scape! Are the rocks similar to seiryu stone in that they increase KH?

Never measured the parameters in the previous tank I used this stones.
However, as they stay sharp on the edges and the Seryiu is getting rounded I suppose they do not effect the water parameters at all. I will test on the new tank for sure.
got a couple more stones and smashed the left one into couple of smaller pieces, will play try out more varieties - have to wait for the new AQUASKY available in Germany anyway

Seryiu does increase hardness and dose "melt" in co2 injected tanks, it also sometimes fails the acid fizz test. Definitely something to watch out for I feel.
