    Hi there,

After few months of collecting equipment for my new aquarium, 2 days ago I started my new Iwagumi style aquascape. This is actually my first "serious" attempt of aquascape, since my first aquarium that I bougt 8 months ago was started without a plan and later it was hard to do some bigger changes.

    Tank specs:
    90x45x45 Optiwhite glass, 10mm
    Lighting:
ATI Sunpower, 4x39W, JBL Natur Ultra 9000 K
    Substrate:
    3 x 9l of Aquasoil Amazonia I
    Hardscape:
    19 kg of Seiryu stones
    Filter:
Eheim Pro 3e 2078, waiting for PM lily pipes to arrive
    Heater:
    Hydor ETH 300
    CO2:
Pressurized, 5kg, diffused via UP atomizer

Now, I started to play with the hardscape, and before I fill the water in I have to be 100% sure in everything. The plant list... Oh yeah... HC, and only HC

So, what do you think about it?

    Thanks a lot!

At the moment I am struggling with installation of filter pipes, tubing and inline devices (the space in the cabinet is limited, and filter is huge, so I still don't know where to install Hydor ETH300 heater).:-"

You've absolutely nailed the left side of the scape - but my first reaction is that the right side could use a little work: just simply, a slightly larger stone (or set of stones) that is able to mimic a little bit the stone structure on the left.

I think with that minor adjustment you'd be pretty much set!

I appreciate your advice :yo: But I ran out of larger stones that would fit this demand.

In fact, this was my first setup, with larger stone on the right pile, and everyone suggested me to replace that stone...

So, I finally did that adjustment and now we have what we have:)
Hmmm... now you left me in a doubt :phew:

my opinion... your two main stones on right are too "upright". maybe change it for one big main stone or move these somehow to side, like the stone in left corner.

but very nice setup, looking forward.

overall impression is good, but with small adjustments it might become really good :proud:

right sight as mentioned looks wrong and the stone I spotlighted in the attachment has to be rearranged imo to suit the overall look
