    Thank you all :)

Jurik, yes it was e. vivipara in the background. Grew extremely fast the first three weeks but I then decided that they did nothing good to my setup. Also lately removed the fast growing ceratopteris thalictroides.

What I am most impressed by, is the current growth of staurogyne repens. They are turning into an amazingly beautiful carpet.

    Thank you all!

Yes, I have had almost no algae whatsoever. I have some green spot algae on microsorum pteropus, rocks, glass and a bit on a few of the staurogynes, but I am now increasing phosphate a bit to combat them, Otherwise, a bit of everything in the beginning - brown, cladophora, hair, rhizoclonium, but only in small abounts that I could remove manually. The water has been somewhat unclear, maybe due to the combination of ADA aquasoil amazonia and very hard water, but I now use 200 ml of Seachem Purigen and it has had a dramatic effect on water clarity.

Jurik, it grows incredibly fast - we're talking at least 2 cm pr. day after a few weeks. I took it out because it became too dominant to quickly.

Yesterday I split the java fern in several smaller bunches and dispersed it around on the roots and added three bolbitis heudelotii. I will move the blyxa in the left foreground to the left background and add staurogyne repens there instead. This will emphasize the island layout more. Otherwise, I think it's a mess hardscape and background, but I think its only a matter of growing in.

The rock... oh you mean the one in the middle - it was just there for a couple of weeks to keep the roots from floating ;)

    Hi,

Added a youtube video from today: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-Nw4mLIoLY]YouTube - Aquarium 13052010[/ame]

There are some yellow leaves and open spaces due to some pruning of staurogyne repens yesterday and removing of blyxa japonica in the left foreground. Otocinclus and amanoshrimps are cleaning up the area for some more staurogynes and p helferi.
