90cm Hi tech journal.

    If you dont "get on top" of it - it will grow over the other glosso and its gonna rot. So trim it down completely. Dont let it grow thick.

    Don't wait for the complete carpet to filled up. Trim out those over grown patch.

    Well I didn't wait.. those that went upwards.. i trimmed... now theyre stacking here and there over each other! .. and the carpet is done lol.

    glosso is something you dont need to carry about, once it becomes too thick you can even trimm it like a lawn and it will recovered more dense and with smaller growth.

    that is quite a cool sight, not very often you see a large shoal like that of bottom dwellers

    Ottocinclus are more of a free dweller... :D you get them stuck on any surface in your tank lol.

    My Otto is a glass dweller, always stuck on the glass during photo shoot :frusty:

    Not sure how many days/weeks has it been. lets assume its close to 7weeks.

    The glosso carpet is growing really really fast! and harvested a good amount of moss today as well. All is well so far... only few traces of GSA as usual.

    The entire carpet, like if it was grass. Makes the plant much more healthy to be pruned like this.

    Not a fan of the crossed wood like that in the middle, but its looks good otherwise, nice carpet too ;) congrats
