Planned this set-up for a while already.. had all these sitting in my living room for a while as well..

    > GEAR<
    Lights : Upgraded to 36w x 4 and 150w .. ( total nearing 300w  )
Filter : PLanned to just have the 2078 Pro 3e and the works( ADA bio rio etc. etc.) But I added another 2236.. talk about filter power hahaha.. ( Oh did I mention? the 2236 is also loaded with ADA Bio Rio and ADA bamboo charcoal LOL..)
C02 : Well, no changes here..

    > Substrate <
Initially planned to use about 3 bags of Amazonia Normal and 1 bag of Amazonia powder.. Now I just used 2 bags of normal and almost 1 bag of powder.. hmm..
No changes to the 5 elements and powersand special M...

    > Plants <
    Rotala sp green/red
    Rotala Najenshan
    Glossostigma.
    Riccia Fluitans
    E. tenellus
    Japanese dwarf Hairgrass
    Anubias nana 'petit'
    Needle leaf fern..
    Bolbitis
    Weeping Moss...

Work started 9:30am.. finally finished top to bottom at 10:30PM.. There was a "plant run"(Nope.. not beer run LOL) as I ran out of some essential plants.. went to LFS to buy more ..

The pictures aren't loading as fast as I want them to be.. Took them with the sleight of hand so it may be a little blur..

here are some of the pics..from step 1 onwards..

Back there was everything before it all started!

    Added the standard Penac W x 14, Penac P x 14, Clear Superx 16, Bacter 100 x 20 , Tourmaline ( 1 whole bottle!)

    Powersand special M...
    Doesn't seem like much..
To prove my point.. edged them away from the front and sides to make sure they won't be visible when the tank is running..

Added Stainless Steel Mesh to layer the Powersand away from the soil
    [IMG]
To prevent the soil and powersand from mixing.. makes rescaping a lot easier in the future...

In goes the Amazonia I (one) powder and normal...
I had some powder towards the from ala ADA style.. same reason.. cosmetics!
    same step...

extra:: Notice the powerplugs in the first image from the prev. post? I was worried about it that It may ruin the outlook of my tank.. but I guess the soil is overpowering! haha

    To be continued

THanks for reading and the awesome comments guys! - this tank is already running with the works.. it's the image uploading which is slow lol.

    :: CONTINUE>

Turned off the lights. went out for the plant run.. took me 2 hours as I had to wait for the owner of the LFS to trim the Rotalas from his display for me! ( talk about fresh rotalas!)

    Purchased ::
    Rotala sp red
    Rotala sp green..
Rotala sp. 'najenshan' - i think..

Went back.. and decided to start to work.. and my lights gave out on me! ( The front portion failed to turn on.. E. ballast problems... luckily not my ADA tubes! )

TO be continued.. Photobucket taking it's own sweet time..

The equipment side of things looks very well made. The tank, light and light rail look very slick. I really like the looks of the wood and stone. It appears to be Borneo Wild product?

    Well done :)

Thanks Orlanda. both the railing and the tank is custom ordered. I dare to challenge if anyone else in my part of the world(and state that is) to own a similar set-up.. So far.. It's authentic.. so is my MINI M.. but I'll get a thread started for that ..

    MORE TO COME SOON!

I´m happy your MH is working again :)
Am I right, you have Optiwhite front in your tank?
How noisy is the Eheim airpump400?
is it working 24/7 or only over night?

    Thanks Jur4ik...
Well no, No optiwhite used here what so ever lol..
The eheim airpump400 has the ever so common vibrating sounds that any other air pump makes.. especially if it is leaning onto something.. on it's own.. it is slighty more quiet..

It is only on at night or when the lights are out.. the images above show it running because it is a new set-up and I overided the timer set for the lights.. lol.

    CURRENT PHOTOPERIOD.
    PL-Ls run for 4 hours.
    MH runs for 2 hours.
This would go on for 2 more days and I will increase 1 hour per 2 nights...

I had a small airpump and it was noisy that I decided not to use it at all! maybe have to try a branded one, like eheim. also the pump I used wasnt strong enough to press the air threw a diffusor.

You have a Mini M, this is interesting - please share pictures of it?

The Mini M has not been scaped yet.. maybe once this tank settles down.. I will scape it..
this is how it is sitting around.. collecting dust at the moment.. I hooked it up with a custom made Lighting Kit which well, once again copies ADA.. ( But superpowered.. ADA provides the lamp for MINI series - 27w.. I hooked it up with 18w x 2 totalling to 36watts)

    - notice the same stainless steel railings? that spot is where the current tank is sitting lol.. the mini M had been moved elsewhere.

    Also,
Just in case we're not on the same side of the garden (LOL) the ADA Diffuser which I had hooked to the eheim airpump400.. is made for well.. Air Pumps. It is not the same ceramic plate we use for our c02 diffusion.. It's coarser if you may ( hence easier for 02 to escape.)

    Thanks for reading!
