Super relaxing. It's my go-to-spot whenever I need to bring down my stress levels. There is also a 575 gallon raised Koi tank with a waterfall style set-up that helps with the audible aesthetics.

Thanks Keith! I'm not breeding them at the moment, but was thinking of trying my hand at it sometime in the future. I'll post a video as soon as my phone charges a bit.

My Koi tank is roughly 575 gallons
I have a 3500 GPH pool pump (with a pressure valve to keep it from over flowing my filter drums.) As you can see, I have 2 55gallon drums as my monster cannisters. The first one has 5 layers of matala pads which is then pushed through to the bottom of the 2nd drum. The water then passes through about 200 lbs of Lava rock (the same you suggested I remove from my tank, haha) and then back into the tank. The picture I posted was pre-maintenance... just wait till I post the video. Stand-by!

One question how do you get that car in and out as it looks like a very tight squeeze.

As I often say we will be waiting.

Lol! It's an 86 ford 5.0 mustang project on the backburner. The wife wants it to burn in a grease fire, but she's off limits on anything in the Garage.

My video upload keeps failing... any idea why?

Place the smaller plants in and around those rocks this will help to give it the natural look.

With you planting think nature and you will not go wrong.

The plants on the DW are looking very healthy and should look great once established.

Rams are capable of doing any thing.

Wash a fresh Iceberg lettuce leaf (not the packaged lose leaf ones) and place that in your tank.

I used to hold the leaf down with a small stone.

Grrr... seems since I put them into the tank, there is a whole lot more baby tear debris floating about. Should I pull them out or will the lettuce be enough?

Try the lettuce it "might" help if not you have two choices Rams or Baby Tears.

In the mean time collect all the floating debris.

Baby tears! I've been trying to carpet them.... oh well. I have to get rid of 6 ruby, 3 German blue and 3 golden rams now =/

Try to sell them privately as the LFS will not give you much for them.
