Its looking great so far, what certainly helps is the rocks and the substrate are a very similar colour this helps to give it the natural appeal.

    What is the next step.

Thanks Keith! I appreciate your feedback. I was waiting for a critique or some feedback. Then I would do what I do with all my art - let it hang out and watch it. I'll find something that wasn't aesthetically correct and fix it.

As far as plants... help!!! At this point, my other 2 tanks have growing carpets. 1 is a hair grass and the other is a S. Repens. What would you suggest based on the stone and rose-toned DW?

My knowledge of plants is not the best I will leave that up to one of the plant experts.

I can see a few minor points but nothing to worry about yet.

As I said only minor but could be distracting.

Video timing 006 and 0010 you can see a few little pieces sticking up on smooth lined DW

The other is the level of the Substrate at the front for appearance only its advisable to be level.

I would be a lot easier if it was a full tank photo not a fast moving Video that does not a full tank photo.

If it was a full photo you could look at every thing in detail.

This is how it sits with the other tanks.

Its also a 360 tank and you are only showing one front or are you going to add a backing?

Red lines no smooth flow the way the rocks are positioned but it looks good.

Number (1) rock has an X on it plus it looks too close to the front glass,

Green line gives you a good sight flow from Left to Right what I prefer.

Then there is the massive BUT it will look totally different when its fully established in about a years time.

There are many Aquascapers who would be very pleased to own that tank.

That is a massive difference, the last rock RH end can it be removed?

If its to stop slippage either bury a small flattish stone or a piece of slate.

Hi there Keith! I filled the tank and let the substrate do its thing. I'll be draining it once the next batch of plants comes Tuesday. Have some potted plants waiting in the tank and helping clear things up. I'll update as soon as I plant. [IMG]

    aquadoob.

Your Aquascape is very simply and with careful planting it will look very natural.

The only point I would like to see is a black backing this will highlight every thing in more detail.

I personally like spray bars I had the Eheim spray bars that were in small sections so I could have water movement at different levels.

The one you have I have never seen one the full length of a large tank.

Is there any reason its positioned at the front of the tank?

Well the tank can be viewed from 3 sides. The "front" would be the smaller part of the tank. There is a bench you can sit on to enjoy all 3 tanks.

I was not sure about that, the way you have set it all up it must be great to sit back and relax with your tanks.
