    Hi everybody.

I have been interested in the hobby for quite some time but due to reasons I haven't really been able to afford to get into it as much as I would like. I would say that over the last 2 years I have had basic planted tanks where the requirements for the plants was fairly minimal. Now the time has come for me to step up in the hobby towards a proper aqua scape in my 5 x 2 x 2 tank.

    Tank: 5x2x2
    Lighting: Quad T5Ho 4foot light
    Substrate: 1-3mm gravel
    Plants:Unknown at this stage
    Livestock: Unknown at this stage
    Co2: Pressurized
Filtration: Largest Classic Ehiem I can get.

At the moment I am only in the early stages of setting up the hard scape. Any tips or advice will be appreciated as currently it is still under construction. The left hand side of the tank I am happy with and I am willing to 'tweek' once it is in the tank. I am now working on the right hand side.

    Kind regards

    Adam

Adam its always a great idea to start a Journal.

Waiting to see the RH side and see how it blends into the LH side without it looking like two Aquascapes in one large tank.

Just trying to find a nice large rock for the right hand side as we have discussed. There are 2 at my LFS but they don't really look too good in my opinion.
