    Hi folks!

    On 18.05.14 I set up this little paludarium. For now it's running without any problems, the plants are growning well and two of the shrimp ladys are gravid. Good so far...

    I used a 35l Dennerle Scaperstank for this layout, size is lxdxh 40x32x28cm. Hardscape is black lava, ground is normal white sand. The root ball of the bonsai was planted in soil. The lighting is 8W LED. In the middle of the hardscape is a little stream that is driven by a pump with 150l/h. The pump is hidden under the hardscape, so the tank is running with ground filtration. This is very convenient, cause this way you don't see any cables or technics in the tank. There is no CO2.

    The bonsai is a Camora mycrophyllum that is doing really good in this tank. It's blooming all the time :)
    The rest of the plants are Micranthenum "Montecarlo", Eleocharis pussila, Bolbitis heteroclita "Difformis", Fissidens nobilis, Hydrocotyle tripartita, Marsilea angustifolia, Bucephalandra "Kapit Petite", one other Bucephalandra I don't know, Vesicularia montagnei, some kind of Taxiphyllum, Riccardia spec. and some native plants like Oxalis.

    The shrimps are taiwan bees.

    Here are some pics. Hope you like it ;)

    Hi there!

    Thank you very much! But I'm really sorry, I haven't done making of photos. Originally this tank was set up to check out how a paludarium with a bonsai works ;) But it evolved better than I espected.

    Hi Keith!

    Nope, not at the moment. I'll try to make some pics next weekend. But there isn't much new to tell. I've put two new plants in there, Schismatoglothis roseospatha and Crepidomanes calicut. Furthermore the shrimp babys are there finaly.

    Andy

    That is something to be very proud of its a fantastic effort in such a small tank.

    I can see a little tube top back RH corner is this how you water all those plants as they so very healthy and moist?

    Hi you two!

    Thanks a lot for the feedback!

    @Keith
    This is the cable of the pump that is hidden under the stones. Thats the only technical component IN the tank ;)
