    hi guys,

want to share my new project.
3 nano cubes places in a row, using one single lightning and co2 supply for all of them.

Used ADA Power Sand S as bottom layer and topped with Amazonia

Cube 1 is using Borneo Wild wood
Cube 2 is using Seriyu stones
Cube 3 will be Invitro scape

i like the middle and the right the most, the left to me looks very ''packed'' with driftwood. nice tanks by the way

Some plants are already on the way, other I still have to decide

    Cheers Vanschenck
The piece of Manzi will go, it is just there for decoration
left has a lot of gaps between the driftwood, you can see it from above
It was important for me to provide a strong appearance of the Hardscape, as they are essential for each scape (except the right one)

    Cheers bud
    will take some more tonight

    Thanks,
they are simple thought, but who said aquascaping has to be complicated? :))

    Hi vanschenck,
I will keep this journal updated ;)

Here a detail shot of the HOB Filter, I kind of love the clean look and the transparent housing gives a look inside so you can see the water movement and when its time for maintenance :))

the bad thing w/ those filters is when they get dirty, it looks nasty, bleaching is the best to clean it

Absolutely, hope they wont become dirty too fast/often :-"

I have now decided which plants to use
1.Moss on wood, Lilaeopsis carpet, H.micrantemoides in the rear corners and C.Wendtii tropica in the middle background
2.Elatine Hydropiper as for carpet around the stones, some moss between the rocks and Acicularis in the middle background
    3. like the following planting map from Maciek

Hi Juri, I have 3 HOB filters in my shrimp tanks. All of them have proven problematic ! I therefore don't recommend them to anybody as main filtering, but only as a second filter. Just keep that in mind.
Love your nano's...will check up on this thread to see the evolution.

    Cheers Alex,
as a shrimp breeder you feed a lot and your tanks are probably not heavily planted, so a bit different ;) But you are right, those filters are small and not as effective as for example canister filters.

    Hi Juri,

Looking forward to see how you will manage this project. IMO it would be interesting if you try to give some hardscape continuity along the three tanks so that it would look as just one splited tank!
