First time poster here. I Started a planted tank about 3 months ago. I'm running co2 as well as dosing and using root tabs. I don't know however if I have enough light . Im guessing not as I'm have a hard time getting my carpet plants to spread. Right now I'm running a led Nat geo. I have a tube hood I could add to the led if needed ? If so what bulb would you all recommend? The grass is about 3 weeks old.

With my experience with dwarf hairgrass, it took about 3 months to carpet with about the same frequency of planting that you have there. And that was with high lighting and CO2. But once you start seeing runners pop up it should start to speed up considerably. Just takes time. Light may not be an issue.
