Thank you nicpapa for any one interest here is all the necessary information on that beautiful red "Ludwigia pantanal"
before maintenance , some plants trimed before 3 days.
I do so experiments , i dose lot of traces and fe.
When i started i dose 0.02ppm traces, and 0.02 dtpa fe.
Now im dosing every day dtpa fe 0.04 ppm, and 3 times a week tracs 0.04ppm fe, for testing traces toxicity ...
Nothing happens, i ll see how this will go.
I saw a big diference in grow just using air pump at night.
You can see the one week grow in the photos.
The extra growth and colour has greatly improved great job
Its the old story with your tank now "What ever you are doing do not change a thing".
All I can add is keep an updated diary of that tank.
Week update before wc.
I would prefer to give you a LIKE++++
This photo has me intrigued are all these new growth at the same time or does it close up after lights out like some garden plants only open during daylight hours.
Its closed an hour before lights turn off.
Lot of plant do this, its like a clock...
Is there something else that triggers that action?
Over the year is it always about the same time.
I had one native Orchid that only opened just before it rained.
Animals are like this we had a cat (given to us people opposite after they moved) at about 4 to 4.30 pm regardless of the season she would sit at the top of the drive for about 15-30 min then would come inside again. From that we worked out it was not caused by the natural light.
Mostly all stem plants closed ,a little before light go off.
Thank you very much for posting that interesting photo plus the extra information.
Remove bnp babies and put them in another small tank.
How did you manage to catch so many?
Did you count them as well?
They birth in a glass bottle covered with dark fabric.
The fist 3 day the babies don't go anywhere they stay in the net.
I just remove the glass , that's all the babies.
I thought you might have a small breeder fry tank clipped on to your tank.
That sounds like a very good method.
An update .
This setup running 3 months.
I done 2 water changes this week moved some plants and clean filters.
Trim a lot .
I didnt change anything in ferts.
Plants look hapy with this setup, but at the end of the week i get some gda on glass.
Im waiting fishes , more fishes.
